Merger alpha
Clear terms, before you join.
Updated October 11, 2026. These terms describe the Merger Windows alpha, its 14-day free trial, and the membership that follows: $50 monthly, or $480 a year with annual billing. For questions about your account or a charge, contact support@usemerger.com.
Your membership and the free trial
$50 USD/month, and your first 2 weeks are free. A card is required to start the trial and $0 is charged today; billing begins when the 14-day trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you are never charged. Applicable tax may be added. Creating a Merger account and joining the waitlist are free. Alpha access opens by invitation in small groups. Waiting for an invitation does not start a subscription or use any trial days. A payment method is collected when you complete Stripe Checkout so that billing can begin automatically when the 14-day trial ends, unless you cancel beforehand. The introductory trial applies to a first membership only. Returning accounts with previous membership history do not receive another trial: the current membership price, plus applicable tax, is due at checkout. Checkout and your account show the terms that apply to your account and any trial end date.
Annual billing is available at checkout for $480 USD a year, which is $40 a month and 20% less than paying monthly for a year. The same 14-day free trial applies; $480, plus applicable tax, is charged once when the trial ends and then once a year.
Alpha members keep $50/month for life. When Merger leaves alpha and the price rises, your rate stays at $50 for as long as your membership stays active. On annual billing the same commitment applies to the $480 yearly rate. This rate applies to one person’s Merger membership.
Renewal and cancellation
After the free trial, your membership renews automatically until canceled: each month at $50, or each year at $480 on annual billing. Sign in, open Billing, and choose Manage billing to cancel through Stripe. Cancel before the trial ends and you are never charged. A scheduled cancellation during the trial leaves access available until the trial ends; after billing starts, a scheduled cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not cancel billing.
If you cannot access billing management, email support from the email address on your account. For a disputed charge or refund request, contact support with the date and amount of the charge. Do not send card details. Any rights you have under applicable law continue to apply.
What alpha means
Merger is in active development. Features, connected services, and availability may change, and bugs or interruptions can occur. Keep independent copies of important messages, contacts, and documents. Windows is the currently offered desktop platform.
Connected services and AI
You need your own accounts for the services you connect. Claude features require an Anthropic API key; Anthropic usage charges are separate from Merger. DocuSign requires your own DocuSign account and any subscription required by DocuSign. Third-party services apply their own terms and policies.
AI suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect. Review suggested deals, contacts, recipient details, and document fields before relying on them. You are responsible for the messages, documents, and agreements you choose to send or sign.
Your account and responsible use
Use an email address you control, keep your password private, and connect only accounts you are authorized to use. Do not use Merger for unlawful activity, spam, abuse, unauthorized access, or interference with the service. Access may be restricted to address misuse or security issues.
Privacy and changes
Read the privacy notice to understand how account data, connected messages, and optional AI features are handled. Updated terms will be published here. The lifetime rate commitment above continues for qualifying memberships while they remain active.
